The Haunted Barn has MOVED!!

First of all, thank you to all who have come out to see us in Townsend over the past seven years. It was a pleasure to have you all there, and we loved doing it all these years. The display will no longer be in Townsend. The owners have moved and were not able to bring it with them, so....It was all sold and moved to Groton, MA just down the street. Harry, the talking skeleton, the witches cauldron, the stone walls, almost all the effects and scenery have been moved to this new location. Now, keep in mind that the new owners at 474 Lost Lake Drive in Groton already had their own display up and open to the public, so this is all in addition to what they already had on their own. Please be sure to visit the new home of all my hauntings in Groton in their new and expanded home, and let people know that there will be no display in the old Haunted Barn this year in Townsend.

This is for Trick Or Treaters of all ages and features a life sized (or should I say Death sized), talking skeleton who is just dying to have a conversation with you. Also, get your treats from our resident Witch who is always brewing up something special. The wind is whipping around and we always have our own private thunder and lightning storm going on. There are many more surprises and scares in store for you this Halloween on Lost Lake Drive in Groton. Please stop by and check it out.

You won't be disappointed!

Here is 'Harry', the talking skeleton.
Come on into the barn and strike up a
conversation with him. He's always in
good spirits!

Please note that this photo was taken with
a flash. The smoke is much more transparent
and the scene is much spookier under proper
lighting
Here is the witch's Cauldron
I took this shot while testing
out the dry ice. Normally, there
is a witch standing by. The cauldron
is where all the candy is, and the
kids have to reach into the fog to
get it. The cauldron is also filled
with green glow necklaces which we
give away. This gives the fog an eerie
green glow.

This attraction is absolutely free, but worth much more than the price of admission. It is appropriate for all ages, although many of the younger children have been afraid to enter. We don't rely on people in masks jumping out at you and startling you in place of a real scare. Instead we leave you wondering, was any of that real? If you have bad dreams later that night, we've done our job.
